I came back from Aix-en-Provence with great memories of this beautiful city, delicious smells and recipe ideas from Le Chat qui Tricote newly opened tea and yarn shop, new knitting friends, a bad cold and two gorgeous skeins of Féline. I’ll be going back there at the end of June to teach three brand new classes: an advanced shawl class in which we’ll talk about cables, provisional cast-on and Estonian lace and two extended sock class to learn toe-up socks and different tricks and tips to enhance your sock game.

Nouveau patron à venir ; Next pattern in the making.

While advising some colour combo to a customer during my time over there, I fell for this marshmallow-like association. I’m still in the early stage of brainstorming design ideas for this next pattern which will be included in the shawl class. My mind is not set between an asymmetrical triangle, a huge wrap or even a cowl. I’ll keep you in the loop when I’ll decide and start working on some swatches.

I come from a family of crafters. I learnt to embroider at the age of 3 and developed a love for thread, fabric and yarn ever since. I rediscovered the joy of knitting in her studying years while I had to spend several hours on public transportation every day. I soon started designing my own patterns to play and experiment with colors and textures. I love bright colours, speckles, singles, shawls and socks so I guess you will see a lot of it here :)
